The next Rafferty's Run is on Saturday July 8.
Task:
Set up and manage a Safety Communications Network.
The
communications network will consist of two repeater sites and will
use
VHF Midband and the two new portable UHF channels 93 and 96.
Please let us know if you can help.

Timings:
07:00 CREST - Meet on site for briefing and breakfast.
07:30 CREST - Hand out radios to CREST Members, officials, medical
and other volunteers
08:15 CREST - Deploy to checkpoints
09:00 Race - Starts
15:30 Race - Ends (Give or take)
16:00 CREST - Pack up and head home

Convict 100 is only 3 weeks away. We are looking for crews to:-
a Do the set up and survey over the weekend of 28/29 April.
b Do the event Saturday May 6.
Set up and survey will involve setting the main hub site mast on Blue
hill and Jacks Track,
as well as Radio Checks from Blue Hill to 10 Mile Hollow and the Split
Point.
Work for the operation on Saturday will start on Friday May 5 with the
installation of repeaters.
Saturday work as required on the event course.
This is a fun weekend of Radios and 4WD Driving.

I would like to confirm the numbers for the Smith Family Challenge on
Friday 10th and Saturday 11th in Kangaroo Valley.
The Base Camp is Bundeela on the Kangaroo River. A free camp site.
The event will be in the Kangaroo Valley and north to Fitzroy Fallc.

Start time is 0800 for the main event, 0900 for the Novis event.

This gives us a crew of 6 for each day with 4 vehicles.
Meet at Cams Wharf 0700 for breakfast, briefing and deployment.
