Trailwalker is on us over the weekend of August 23, 24 and 25.
Our role is to support BSAR and the RFS around Jerusalem Bay, Berowra
Waters, Lyrebird Gully and Bobbin Head.
This will require a small team for setting up, the operations centre
(ECC), and field support.
The plan is:-
Thursday 22, set up equipment at ECC, Arthurs Cct and Bobbin Head.
Friday 23 from 0700
Operations at the ECC
Issue equipment as required
Standby with Xband for Jerusalem Bay
Support the network as required
Pack up at the end

The next event on the Sydney program is the Raffertys Coastal Run,
Saturday July 13.
Expressions of interest so far from Andrew and John from Singleton and
the usual Sydney crew.
Task:
Set up and manage a Safety Communications Network.
The
communications network will consist of two repeater sites and will
use
VHF Midband channel 76 and the two portable UHF channels 93 and 96.

for communications to the points near Loftus Oval and the optional
points.
Our next event is the Western Sydney Parklands Trial Run - 22nd June
2019.
We will need some extra people for this event as some members are
working on Nav Shield.

1300 Pack up
I am aiming to get the repeater setup and tested on Friday after lunch.
So far we have Des, Julie and Sajith. We have been as to cover the Aid
Stations and Start/Finish.

On Sunday May 26, CREST has been ask to participate in an event at AR
NSW, 63 Quarry Rd, Dural.
I intend to have a small display, the Repeater trailer with mast and a
working repeater to demonstrate our communications capabilities.
Any members available to assist would be appreciated. We will need to be
set up and working before 1000. Pack up after 1600. A 3mt x 3mt shelter
and a table along with 240VAC power will be provided.
The event is in conjunction with the WIA AGM and a Trash and Treasure
day.

WICEN have ask if we can help with the Glow Worm Tunnel Marathon, June 15, 16 and Navshield June 22, 23
The Glow Worm Tunnel Marathon is at Newnes, north of Lithgow.
Navshield is a SECRET. It will however be somewhere North, South or West of Sydney by 2 or 3 hours. We can discount East as swim wear was not mandated.
