The team for Sunday will be:-


Des, Julie, Craig, John V, Andrew P, Warren, Brendan and Stuart WICEN.


The repeater will be set up and tested on Saturday afternoon. The location is near CP 14.

Some help may be required if anyone is available.


As there is an early start, could the team assemble at Acron Oval by 0530.

The tasks will be to issue radios as required to team members and event volunteers prior to deployment.


Suggested Deployments

Des/Julie Acron Oval as Start/Finish.

Andrew to CP 12, Water and First aid. (Need to confirm directions)

Craig CP 13 20K turnaround. Linigen Place.

john V and Stewart CP 5. Wanniti Rd.

Warren CP10 at Ralstone Ave and Elm Ave

Brendan Start/Finish for second session.

Deployments may may change on the day.


Radios are required at CP1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 for the morning session and CP1, 2, 4, 14, 16, 17 for the afternoon.

The channel for the day is the CREST High band portable 2.

0430 CW staff arrive at Acron Oval

0430 – 0600 CW staff setup eventcentre at Acron Oval

0500 Volunteers arrive at Acron Oval

0530 – 0620 Volunteers, CW Crew on course marshals deployed from Acron Oval

0600 Limited 20km participant registration

0615 Start loop marshals deployed

0630 – 0700 20km race begins

0700 Limited 12km participant registration

0730 – 0800 12km race begins

1045 Session 1 conclude

All participants/spectators clear the site

1045 – 1245 Event centre and all touch points cleaned/Reset for 2nd Session

1300 Session 2 Start Limited 6km registration

1315 – 1400 6km race begins

1330 Limited 2km registration

1420 – 1430 2km race begins

1530 Session 2 conclude

All participants/spectators clear the site

Volunteers/CW Crew remove all signage and clear course
